We understand that data privacy is important to you. It’s important to us too and we’re committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This policy explains how we use the information we collect about you and the procedures we have in place to safeguard your privacy whilst you use our website and services. Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

How we’ll use your data 

We will collect and store only necessary personal data and customer information to allow us to meet our obligations for the following purposes: 

  • customer service management and development 
  • business development and related customer service development, customer relationship management, e.g., customer communication 
  • direct marketing – managing, developing, targeting, and monitoring marketing communications, and sales. Acrospire Ltd may utilise subcontractors used in marketing procedures to process information.

You can opt-out of marketing communications at any time, should you wish to do so.

Information we collect and store 

We will collect and store the following information about customers and prospects: 

  • first and last name 
  • email address 
  • telephone number 
  • other customer-related information, such as product interest

Your data is retained for as long as it is necessary in order to use it as described above, and/or for as long as we have your permission to keep it. 

Sources of information

With the customer’s consent, information about our customers and prospects is obtained from the customer directly at point of enquiry. We also collect information when you complete surveys, provide feedback or participate in a competition. We may supplement our own data with information held on other databases, in an effort to keep the information accurate and up-to-date. 

What are our legal grounds for handling your personal data?

The General Data Protection Regulation “GDPR” allows the use of your personal data where necessary for legitimate purposes provided this is not outweighed by the impact it has on you as an individual.  This is known as the ‘legitimate interests’ condition for processing personal data.

The majority of our data processing is under the condition of legitimate interests but we also operate on the condition that you consent to us processing the data you provide.

Once you have purchased from us we will rely on the condition of ‘performance of a contract’.

Sharing your data with third parties

Acrospire Ltd may share your data with partners who are appointed to fulfill marketing and business-related activities such as the mailing of marketing materials and giveaways.

Keeping your data safe 

Personal information is stored securely on Acrospire’s firewall-protected server. The data is password protected and accessible only by authorised staff members who require it to perform their tasks.

How long will we keep your data?

We keep your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is held.  We remove your data immediately if you request us to do so.  

Your data rights 

You have the right to view the data we have about you and request the correction of any inaccurate data that we hold.  You may also request the deletion of your data from our database.
